Olera straws are made from corn extract, a renewable and high quality material! Available in 8″ lengths individually wrapped and/or in bulk, as well as in 6″ lengths in bulk (from 200 to 2000 units/box). They are totally harmless to the environment and end their life in composting, thus causing no harm to nature from their manufacture to the end of their use. It is also possible to have them personalized.
Verres
Olera glasses, made in PLA or bagasse, are available in convenient 12 or 16 ounce sizes, generic or customized. They can be used over and over again and are made of 100% compostable organic material. They are the perfect example of a product that promotes the Zero Waste philosophy, a key value at Olera Solutions.
N.B. PLA glasses are for cold drinks only. Bagasse cups are perfect for hot beverages such as coffee.
Bowls
Olera bowls are perfect for restaurants, companies and institutions that wish to improve their ecological footprint by eliminating single-use food containers that are not recyclable. We offer different sizes, which also allows our customers to avoid overpacking when a dish needs to be delivered or picked up. We have PLA dishes for cold meals (salad/sushi…) or the bagasse option for hot meals.
Bags
Olera PLA bags are an efficient and ecological solution to replace the plastic bag, which is gradually being banned from cities, but also the cardboard one, which gets wet, tears and takes up more storage space. Made of compostable bioplastic, they are resistant to heavy loads and allow buyers to make their purchases without polluting.
Bagasse
Sugarcane plates / cups, also called bagasse, are made from the discarded fibers after the liquid is extracted (for sugar) from the sugarcane. When transforming the fibers into plates, we help the environment as these would be thrown out or burned. They are a great option from a renewable source and 100% compostable!
